At What Point Should A Person Be Given A Referral To The Counseling Center? The Counseling Center works with individuals who have completed inpatient rehab programs and have reached a point where they can reside at their own house but seek ongoing assistance for mental health and sobriety. For you to refer someone to our center, they have to be: 14 years of age or older Finished with detox for drugs and/or alcohol Medically stable Need professional services for sustaining sobriety or dealing with mental health illness Committed to attend mental health therapy to examine addiction and mental disorders
Will Referrals Be Kept In Confidence?Of course! We keep all patient information in confidence. We only discuss their recovery with them, you as their healthcare provider, and their designated relatives.
What Can I Look For After Submitting A Referral? If you contact The Counseling Center, someone will respond promptly, regardless of the hour or day. We’ll discuss if our treatments make sense for the individual’s current needs or if they require some other kind of therapy for their present stage of substance use or mental health recovery. If we determine The Counseling Center At Robbinsville is the right option for them, we’ll proceed with a psychological evaluation and explore their insurance coverage and payment options. Once this is complete, we’ll discuss the best treatment for them and get them enrolled in one of our customizable outpatient programs.
